For a few years now one of the themes and inspirations for my art has been rock music and animals. I enjoy combining figures of animals and humans playing instruments in a cubist style. I usually start with realistic drawings of animals, people and instruments and then use these drawings to make cubist style paintings and drawings. I have done a lot of sketching of the animals on a friends farm. At home I have many old instruments that I use to make still life drawings. Sometimes I will also use photos however I usually prefer drawing from life. I have also done many bas-relief stone carvings with animals that are done in more of a realistic or symbolic style. 

The largest painting is a triptych that is in total about 4 x 8 feet. There are three canvases and a wooden stand that I am using to paint these on. The paintings can also be displayed on the stand anywhere in a room or could be hung together on a wall. I have been working on the painting for a few years however it is still not complete.
